Sam's been really into the
Happy Birthday Little Pookie book by Sandra Boynton. It's probably because he can really relate to being the little pig in the story. The little pig wakes up his parents at 5:30 A.M. and his parents make him piggie pancakes, buy him a balloon, give him a stuffed frog toy and eat they birthday cake. I think Sam wishes this could happen every day. All week he's been asking for Piggie Pancakes. Today I told him I'd make him Piggie Pancakes. He was really excited. It turned out okay considering I had to improvise on some of the materials. This boy can't get enough pancakes and waffles!
