On Monday I found Sam trying to climb out of his crib. He climbed all the way to the top of the crib and was straddling the front bar. We knew this day would happen but we were hoping not this soon. It was time for Sam to graduate from his crib.
Sam now sleeps in a "toddler bed." It's basically his crib with the front piece taken off. He actually slept really well in it the first night with not much of a fuss.
The next day for his nap he didn't seem to like the bed as much. He cried for about 10 minutes and then was quiet. I was about to open the door to check on him and then I noticed something through the crack of the door. In the above picture you can see part of Sam's leg, his stuffed animal blanket and his clothes. Poor guy fell asleep crying at the door.
Last night Sam went to bed fine again. But today for his nap he cried for awhile again. I went in to see what all the fuss was about and apparently he opened up one of his dresser drawers and then closed his blanket in it. Once we got the blanket freed he went to sleep in his bed fine.
Um...We're working on it.

I love the last picture with Sam and his bear blankey. I can't believe he has a toddler bed before Lincoln.
Oh that picture broke my heart of little Sam by the door. Poor thing! He is so cute! We miss you guys!
